Our FIDLOCK® HERMETIC products are not only highly functional and durable but also designed for easy cleaning. Regular care ensures optimal performance and helps maintain the good appearance of your products, allowing you to enjoy them for longer.
Our products are made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), NdFeB permanent magnets, and Nylon, which contribute to their durability and waterproof properties. Over time, you may notice white streaks forming on the plastic surface; these are natural residues of starch, as we use biological rather than conventional chemical treatments on our foil.
To maintain your FIDLOCK® HERMETIC products, please follow these care instructions:
Washing Instructions:
- Hand wash using mild dish soap.
- Do not wash in a washing machine or use autoclaves, as these methods are not suitable for the materials used in our products.
Cleaning Steps:
- Place a sponge or a similar object in the opening of the HERMETIC product between the magnetic strips. This allows the interior and exterior of the bag to be thoroughly cleaned.
- Use only a small amount of non-abrasive detergent.
- Avoid using washing powder, fabric softener, chlorine bleach, or all-purpose cleaners.
Drying Instructions:
- After washing, ensure that the HERMETIC product dries completely. Check that no moisture remains inside the product to maintain its waterproof properties.
Safety Instructions:
- Contains Strong Magnets. Keep a safe distance from pacemakers and magnetic resonance tomographs

Our products are 100% waterproof and can be submerged indefinitely, however if you are diving at the maximum depth of 30 metres, then we recommend only doing so for 60 minutes at a time.
