The fabric is great and i love the lining however I'm running into the same issue i've had with other shorts like this. It's clear that the shorts were originally designed for men and not for women. The waterproof pocket is indeed waterproof but, next to unusable because of it's positioning. If you have a phone in your pocket don't plan on sitting down. It lays right at the crease of your hip joint making it uncomfortable to say the least. To make this usable, it either needs the waterproof pocket closer to the front/top of the thigh, or make it a back pocket and have it sit across the small of your back. Unfortunately ,I think I'm going to have to send these back.

Nice to wear, very comfortable. Make sure you check the pocket is sealed correctly, then it works perfectly. As I had already opened the pocket I did not realise the opening was not clasped within the seal. Once this was done correctly and pocket side was clasped it worked well and nothing was wet ! Great product, excellent service. Very happy.

I love the two pairs of shorts I purchased. They are easy to wear and largely comfortable. I am finding the waterproof pocket a little rigid. It also drops quite badly when my phone is in it. This means it dangles lower than the hem of the short leg. Not ideal for me. But I still like and will use the shorts.

The medium length shorts don't have the issue of pocket drop below hem line which can happen on shorter shorts when filled with a phone and sitting.
I just opened the packages as I have been away. They got really well. It is a really excellent concept. I think it will work well when out on SUP board and any water activities. However, with the hard pocket I have yet to decide if they will be comfortable to wear generally around. Averall they tick the boxes of what I needed.

I'm taking this on my trip to fully test it out but the style is simple and looks like normal shorts which is great. Just wish they had an inner lining so I didn't have to wear underwear underneath. I'd also love to more styles/colours for women and a longer length would be great too.

The fabric feels amazing. Go with your normal size pants. The customer service was next level. I was unsure about sizing but Graham talked me through it. I have yet to try them out in water but will do when the weather warms up.

I always wear boardies and wanted something to put keys in etc when I went into the water. Never entertained the idea of a waterproof pocket ...... um but wait what's that! The boardies are comfortable I haven't actually worn them in the water but I'm confident that things will stay dry. I'm usually a 12/14 and I got the large and they fit nicely not tight at all. I possibly could have tried the medium but I'm happy enough - will wait and see what they are like when they are wet.

The phone pocket is quite bulky, good if you want to take your phone, I would suggest an option for a smaller waterproof pocket designed for holding just a key fob for e.g. surfing
